The Celtic spiritual path is open to everyone and many individuals and groups celebrate the seasonal festivals with ritual and ceremony. With this in mind we offer our Foundation Course Booklets and the Rites of Danu to anyone who is interested in following this path with out necessarily becoming a druid. The information in theses booklets will support your work and celebration whether you choose to work alone or with friends.

Foundation Course in booklet form only – £30 per booklet
Please note: this option allows you to study the basics of the druid path without becoming a member of the College, this option is not accredited and no further study is available.

For our Celtic ancestors the year began as we entered into the darkest time. In the same way the day began at sunset and ended at sunset the following day. They knew that the darkness is not to be feared but can be compared to the dark womb of the Great Mother where all things have their beginning. We too measure our year and our days in this way.

The year therefore begins at Samhain and turns through the seasons with each one marked by a celebration and Rite.

Each Rite follows a basic form with specific elements for each one. You can add your own poetry, songs, chants etc. Information about each festival, including suggestions for meditation, celebrating the festival on your own or with friends and the basic form of the Rite is now available from the Grove of Danu.

Eight booklets are available as a pack for £25 + postage.
